Taking Action for Cleaner Seas: SUNPLAY's "We Care For The Ocean 2023" Campaign Champions Environmental Responsibility


Sunplay, a leading brand in sun protection, is thrilled to announce the launch of its third consecutive CSR campaign, ‘We Care for the Ocean 2023’. The campaign aims to raise awareness about ocean pollution and is calling for volunteers to join in its effort to clean up the beaches.

This year, it is taking its commitment to the next level by their efforts to include beaches in Negeri Sembilan which is Pantai Blue Lagoon. This extension demonstrates Sunplay's dedication to broadening their impact and addressing environmental concerns in different regions of Malaysia. In total, they will be cleaning up seven beaches across the country.

In conjunction with this campaign, Sunplay is collaborating with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) and Watsons. During the campaign period, RM 1 from every Sunplay outdoor sunscreen sold in Watsons in the month of November will be channelled to the campaign fund.

This initiative encourages consumers to contribute to the cause while ensuring their skin remains protected under the sun. Sunplay is also collaborating with a well-known local climate action and sustainability advocate Melissa Tan, who will add a fresh perspective to the campaign. Her expertise and passion for protecting the environment will help raise awareness about the dangers of ocean pollution and inspire more people to act.

Last year, the campaign successfully collected 1,348kg of trash and this year, Sunplay aspires to collect even more, to make a significant impact in keeping our beaches clean and preserving the marine ecosystem.

Canon Launch Event Prints with Purpose on World Mental Health Awareness Day

 

Canon Marketing Malaysia’s ("Canon") Consumer System Products division is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Mega Productivity With Canon, the product launch event of its new printers. In partnership with Thrive Well, the launch was held in conjunction with a yoga retreat to observe World Mental Health Awareness Day.

At the Mega Productivity With Canon event, Canon unveiled its latest additions to the G series, TS series, and GX series of printers, catering to both consumer and business users. These new printer models aim to provide unmatched versatility and performance, catering to the specific needs of businesses and home users. 

“Our new printer models as well as the new MegaTank tagline unveiled today represent a leap forward in Canon’s commitment to providing versatile printing solutions for the diverse needs of our consumers. With this launch, Canon showcased how its new printers are more comprehensive than ever before, offering the perfect printing solution for every customer requirement. Two new vibrant and eye-catching colour series (purple and yellow-green) were introduced in the G series (G2730 and G3730) of 3-in-1 inkjet printers. These new colour variations are designed to add a dash of sophistication to an office environment and inspire productivity. The new dynamic colours will be available exclusively online. The TS series now boasts two new premium photo printers (TS7770 and TS7770A) that deliver stunning and defined prints to elevate creative printing.
