Rasa Utara...
Rediscovering 'makan' time...
Authentic Northern Malaysian cuisine...
At Berjaya Time Square...
Rasa Utara was established in November 1984,
With aspiration from our current PM,
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad...
Yummy Mi Kari Udang
RM15.80!~
My top favourite..
It is perfectly cooked...
Soft and succulent squid,
Stuffed with minced chicken and potato...
Perfectly pairing up with Kapitan sauce,
Infused with spices and coconut milk..
Ikan Menaru RM38.80...
Dancing fish is Rasa Utara's signature dish...
Love the crispiness of the fish skin...
With the fluffiness inside...
Must eat it with their signature blend of
Caramelized sweet soy sauce,
And sambal 'nuclear' (hot sambal)..
Pucuk Paku Masak Lemak RM12.80
Very appetizing dish:
Local wild fern,
braised in turmeric, garlic and coconut milk...
Aroma of the rempah,
Perfectly blends in the fried chicken..
Yummy!!~
Terung Goreng Sambal RM12.80
Brinjal in homemade sambal paste..
Nasi Jagung RM3.80
Specialty rice,
Cooked with corn..
Perfect way to end our meal,
With sweetness overload:
Dessert!!!~

I haven't really had the chance to eat Malaysian cuisine. Asia is a part of the world I have yet to visit but it looks like I will eat really well when I finally get there!
