Methods of Preparing Food

Everytime I see raw food,
I'll ask mummy to cut and cook it......

Recently,
Mummy's surprise because I actually told her,
The method of cooking!!!

Mummy: This is lotus...
Me: Mama, cut...
Mummy: Cut and ? (Mummy's expecting me to answer 'cook')
Me: Boil soup...

Mummy must be wondering how I know lotus is for boiling soup!
Well,
I just know.....
I didn't just eat my everyday meal...
I observe a lot!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mummy take out fishy from the fridge this time...

Me: Mama, team.. team(steam) fish

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mummy: You want to eat onion?
Me: Yes! cut and fried.....
Mummy: You like fried onion?
Me: Yee-yah!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Me: Mama, Apple...
Mummy: Wait a... I cut it for you first...
Me: Peel skin
Mummy: (Oh!!! You know I should peel off the skin, too?!!)

Mummy,
You see,
I don't just limit my vocabulary to cut and cook!
I tend to learn more through observation,
And listen to how adults talk!!
